Almost daily I see tweets and links luring me to get more “Christian” followers. If you google “Get Christian Twitter Followers” there are 14,400,000 results. I notice some people have thousands of followers but some of those people are following thousands of people as well. I understand if you are trying to expand your network or get your product out there but just simply attempting to gain followers to make your number climb higher seems a bit off. I have enough trouble following the 55 people I follow on Twitter. And to be honest enough trouble following Jesus daily. So I am concerned that it seems some people’s concern to gain more and more followers and if that was not enough now more and more christian followers. Maybe we should begin to live our lives in such a remarkable way that people actually want to follow us. Jesus constantly told His followers that the road was going to be difficult and tried to click the unfollow me button on them several times. They insisted that He had the words of life and insisted on not just following his parables at a distance but entered into His life all the way to the death. Jesus started a revolution that is still revolutionizing the world today with only a small group of followers. So my proposal is less is more. It only takes one to create a movement. One person being passionate about what they believe in can cause others to join in with reckless abandonment. That is what the world is waiting on.

I believe the video below is prophetic picture of what can happen when we become passionate about what we believe in. We throw ourselves 100% into it and we start a revolution.
