Over the past few years I have traveled to a lot of places sharing about how to engage culture.

I believe we are called to be infectious but I think I missed it a few months ago.

I did a post a few months ago called “Who’s Louder Kanye or Our Generation” but I think I missed it.

(Also it was the 2nd most popular post ever on my blog… Are we obsessed with throwing stones?)

While I may not stand outside of places that I do not agree with picketing and screaming about how God hates certain groups of people I did do it through my blog.

I talk about engaging culture but then I actually disengaged through my post recently.

Jesus chose to not only engage people like Kanye West but he invited them to join his team. Do not think so? Maybe read the details of the background of the disciples and also check out the family tree of Jesus!

My prayer today is that I constantly evaluate myself to see if I have an “Us” verses “Them” mentality that his contrary to the gospel of the Kingdom.
