I was shocked when I read this Discover Blog about the comet that crashed into the sun recently.

The tail of the comet was 1.9 million miles long. (3,057,753.6 kilometers) Lets put that number into perspective. The circumference of the earth at the equator is 24,901.55 miles (40,075.16 kilometers). It would take almost two years of nonstop driving at 200kmh to go that distance.

I am constantly amazed at the bigness of God and how involved he is in the smallness of our lives. I don’t even know all of my friends names at all times much less know the numbers of hairs on their heads. Human hair varies in diameter, ranging anywhere from 30 ?m to 100 ?m. I am not even sure what that measurement is? I love that my God knows that a comet with a tail 1.9 million miles long crashed into the sun, how many sparrows are on a certain tree, and how many hairs are on my head. Regardless of how big or how small my issues are He knows about them and walks with me through them.
